MFLEX Environmental Health & Safety Policy Statement
We believe that every colleague is entitled to a safe and healthy place in which to work. The safety of our colleagues, the environment, the public and our customers are essential to our success and the success of the communities in which we operate. For this reason we place the environment and safety as preeminent business objectives.
This is achieved by:
- Continuously assessing and improving our safety processes, environmental practices, and communication
- Providing ongoing colleague training and education
- Complying with all applicable International, Federal, State and Local Regulations
- Providing the support, equipment and materials needed to do each job safely
- Listening to the ideas, needs and concerns of our colleagues
- Ensuring every colleague complies with the Company’s Safety Program and is empowered to report any potential unsafe condition
- Ensuring every person in our organization is accountable for maintaining a safe work environment
- Integrating EH&S considerations into our business planning and making them fundamental in the development of our products and processes
- Minimizing adverse EH&S impacts of our operations through the use of comprehensive and effective processes for: accident prevention; energy and material resource conservation; pollution prevention; waste minimization; recycling of materials and the safe and responsible handling and disposal of waste and effluent
Environmental Health and Safety is accomplished by a proactive teamwork approach. Eliminating the potential for work-related accidents and injuries and protecting the environment is the job of each MFLEX colleague.
